Experiences + Events

Shared experiences are an amazing complement to strategic content and storytelling. In addition to tradeshows, panel discussions, conferences, media immersion trips and more - these are a few examples of experiences I designed that made an impact.

This Old House Apprentice Immersion

During a multi-year partnership with beloved show This Old House, I dreamed up an idea to help inspire and train the next generation of builders. We held a contest, looking for builders or apprentices from across the country who needed to jump start their career. I brought them to our headquarters in Warroad, MN, and immersed them in multiple days of learning with our top building experts and Tom Silva, himself. The builders forged incredible relationships, and had an unforgettable experience. They talk and help each other out on a group text chain to this day.

Marvin Modern Launch

When Marvin launched a sleek, new Modern line, we intercepted architects at the American Institute for Architects’ annual meeting in NYC. I scouted and rented a chic loft in Manhattan where we installed several larger-than-life Modern windows and doors, and a full bar (of course.) We hired famed architect Chris McVoy of Steven Holl architects to share his perspective on harnessing light in his work and previewed our new product line with some of the top architects in the country.
